Muscle Stim

The Muscle Stim units offer a directly applied electrical current to the motor point of muscles identified as being in need of stimulation or development.  Muscle bulk can be both built and maintained using muscle stim, which is an excellent way to teach muscles how they need to work correctly and to develop or re-educate muscle function.   The muscles are stimulated to fire and contract by the application of electrodes to the tissue, linked to the unit which can be programmed differently to take account of the condition of muscle tissue.  Useful in cases of atrophy, functional asymmetry, and horses on box rest to maintain muscle function.  It may be necessary to clip the hair coat of particularly woolly horses.
