Winback TECAR and Electrotherapy Modalities

Winback Radiofrequency treatment

Winback Back3 TECAR is an electrotherapy modality that uses high-frequency currents (radiofrequency) to stimulate deep tissue, promote circulation, and accelerate the body's natural healing process. It provides targeted relief for musculoskeletal pain, reduces inflammation, and improves mobility. This is an extremely exciting and effective treatment to be able to offer.

The Winback TECAR therapy BACK3 is a game-changer in animal care, combining the power of HiTENS and HiEMS muscle stimulation with tissue repair currents.

The exceptionally flexible application options mean that Winback TECAR therapy can be applied to most areas of the body for maximum clinical effect via static or mobile electrodes, or the innovative Winback bracelets - which allow the therapy to target otherwise inaccessible areas.

Treatment options:

  • Follow-up to standard physio treatment focussing on a specific area requiring ongoing support, pain relief or management

  • Bolt-on time to a standard treatment (additional charge to physio treatment)

  • TECAR treatment course of (5+ treatments) to support injury repair (block booking price applies)

Suitable for many conditions:

  • Pain management (drug free)

  • Osteoarthritis - all areas (joints, distal limb, neck, back) to manage pain and maintain mobility as an ongoing treatment

  • Post-surgical repair, wound healing. Suitable for use with PRP and stem cell therapy. Suitable for kissing spine surgery recovery

  • Improving muscle function, stability and mobility; muscle spasm, improved performance, pain reduction

  • Sacroiliac pathology

  • TMJ pain, and headshaking

  • Deep tissue support and repair (ie gluteal pain)

  • Tendon and ligament injuries/repair

  • Lymphatic drainage

  • Superficial/deep heat therapy (hyperthermia)

  • Maintenance and treatment of long term issues

  • Winback Back3 TECAR is extremely versatile to apply; there are few areas of the body that it cannot reach

  • There is no competition withdrawal period

Available Electrotherapy modalities:

  • Laser (class 3b and Class IV)

  • Shortwave and longwave ultrasound

  • Pulsed Electromagnetic field (PEMF)

  • H-Wave

  • TENS

  • Microcurrent

  • NMES

Supportive, more mainstream, clinically relevant electrotherapy treatment (other than Winback) such as laser or PEMF will usually be applied within a routine physio treatment.

A course of electrotherapy treatments involving (for example) short treatments for specific diagnosed injuries and pathologies can be arranged - eg. courses of laser treatment.

In some cases, for existing clients only, where regular treatment is needed and practicality indicates, electrotherapy machines may be hired. This will depend on the likely need for the equipment to be available for other clients.
